Working girl, day two

While I haven't gotten around to taking any exciting action shots, working from home so far [knock on wood] has been pretty darn great. I think this is due primarily to NAPS. Leah's naps are more refreshing for me than they are for her, and enable me to do super-human things like... write an entire email in one sitting! Make a 2-minute phonecall! Use the bathroom by myself! Don't be jealous. You, too, can do these amazing tricks with NAPS!

She is still a fabulous baby - happy, active, and relaxed. It's like having the most generous boss in the world.

Yesterday Xenia, bean's one-day-a-week nanny, came to visit for a few hours in preparation for her first day here tomorrow. I was a bit apprehensive, even though I remembered loving her. But after a few minutes with her, all that apprehension was gone, replaced with apprehension about trying to dress myself appropriately for work + not speaking babytalk to my boss.
