Happy Five Months, baby!What a difference just a few weeks makes. It's difficult to get anything past this girl now. She notices everything, though she picks and chooses those things that best deserve her attention. Leah is still a big fan of the tv, despite our attempts to keep her from watching it. The cat has also become a keen object of interest - though she's mostly seen as a source of amusement these days. Amelia does not share the same interest in Leah. We think she maintains that we made a mistake when we brought the baby home.
Leah attended her first funeral yesterday (her great-grandmother Janet's) - a firm yet sorrowful reminder that life marches on.
These two pictures were taken at her great-grandmother's house; one modeled after the other. The first one is Leah finding her first egg (not quite an Easter egg, but an egg nonetheless). The second picture shows a smaller picture of her father finding his first Easter egg in the same spot in that house when he was a baby.
