Lake flower

She continues to grow in leaps and bounds, in spite of our wish to make time go just a little more slowly. We spent the weekend cozied up in the lake cabin, playing with the baby, eating marvelous food, taking short walks in the (mostly) cold and overcast weather, and making an occasional trip to water's edge. Leah charmed her grandparents and great-uncle + aunt Bill and Sandra with her baby tricks.

She also magically sent her mother off to sleep...









... and enjoyed a few short moments in part of a Halloween costume that was waiting in her room upon arrival. We think she'll be able to catch lots of treats in a few weeks.

Cold update: She seemed much better when we returned from work this evening, and after an easier-than-expected battle with her snot extractor, is now sleeping with only a slight snore.
