Thankful

I have so many things to be thankful for this year. I usually have a pretty good surplus, but this year I feel exceptionally blessed to be Leah's mom.

Here she is, watching the Thanksgiving Day Parade. (I was thankful that I was not where the parade was taking place - just a few blocks from where I work.)

And here we are at Rob's grandparents' house. We were fortunate to spend the day with them, his parents, and his Aunt Marya + Uncle George. Oh, and we were also fortunate to spend some time with some mighty fine food!

Mmmm...

We spent the rest of the gloriously extra-long weekend at home, and tonight we ventured out sans baby (who was tucked away with Rob's parents) for dinner + a movie. It was good to get out on our own; it felt like getting more breathing room, but we ran out of intelligent things to say.

Rob: "What do you think about the war in Iraq?"
Me: "I think I'm drunk." (After having had 2 sips of my light beer.)

Here are some more cute pictures. I couldn't decide which one was cuter. You decide.
