Behold: the toddler bed

And here she is!

Asleep in her own bed, in her own room.

The first night she slept there pretty well until 3am, when I decided leaving my own bed to go comfort her wasn't really part of my nighttime agenda. She took her entire nap there yesterday, slept the first part of the night again there last night, and is currently taking today's nap in said bed.

Happiness is... a warm Ikea toddler bed.

Edited on 1/27/08: While very exciting at the time, we quickly realized that we were all (parents, child, and cats) much happier together in our big family bed. The toddler bed now is a toy. It also holds cats during the day.
