The day began with a sick Bean (the dreaded eye snot had returned, bringing its friend Fever) and canceled plans. Fortunately, the Easter Bunny had not canceled its trip to our house.
Making the best of a germy situation, Leah decided to clean the kitchen sink.
That evening, recovery in progress (and kitchen clean), her Dahlay + Grandpa stopped by with Easter entertainment (including a très chic Hello Kitty purse).
Before bed, she faced down her balloon version of the Easter Bunny and then put him out of commission with her excessive mucous + kung fu moves.
As for church, we took more of a "less is more" approach this year. (As in, the fewer people we infect with germs, the better. ) Also, we need to find a local church, having proven ourselves inept at driving back to the old 'hood to attend.
