Whew! Today went even better than Tuesday. Apparently most of the kids did a little fussing in the beginning (Leah included), but settled down and had a good time. I took off after a few minutes + headed to my friend Betsy's house (whose daughter Zoe is in Leah's class) for a latte + commiseration. We got a call to come back a little early in order to "end on a happy note". When I came through the door, the girl was coloring at one of the tables. She came running - with a smile on her face - to show me her picture as soon as she spotted me. Feeling much better now!
