At any rate, this year's pumpkin picking expedition was a success. We arrived early to meet up with some of Leah's gang, and went about the business of enjoying our kids + the warm fall weather while choosing the best pumpkins to tote back to the homestead.

we went on a very hot weekend (80 degrees and pumpkin picking seems crazy) - we were out in Chester at Hacklebarney Farm ... where did you go? It looks like the same place (but I bet they all kind of look the same) with the corn growing near the pumpkin patch.
They DO all look the same! One of my friends asked if it was the same place we went last year (and it was not).
We went to Sun High Orchards in Randolph in an effort to escape the crowds. I've heard good things about Hacklebarney, too. (God, it sounds like we're discussing boarding schools or something... )
