Activities to fill the quiet

I was a little afeared of what might happen once we hit the relative silence of relative-free environs. But as it's turned out (so far), there was nothing to worry about. Leah has busied herself with housework + painting, and has re-acquainted herself with Sesame Street and The Iron Giant. Life has actually been quite pleasant. Which goes to show: when you expect the worst, it might not happen!

Though I have to say that replacing my laptop with a good book may have a hand in bettering everyone's mood. (And when I say 'everyone', I could mean me.)
