She still prefers her tricycle when tearing it up on the pavement, but a new "real" bike has made its way into our garage.
It's a balance bike, with no pedals. The idea is that she'll learn how to balance herself on a bicycle without the false stability of training wheels, and be able to transition straight to a bigger bike eventually. Or to a Flintstones car.
and it looks like pieces won't come flying off, like with our aesthetically pleasing but, in the end, neither sturdy nor practical wooden balance bike! sometimes I'm just a complete sucker for beautiful design.
