Yesterday I got to pick up the Bean from school. The building closes at 6:30, which gives me approximately 7 minutes to sprint to the car from the train, drive a few blocks, and retrieve her before teachers begin to get annoyed. Running upstairs to find her, I called out her name, expecting her to be waiting to leave. Not a chance. She glanced casually my way before turning back to her drawing project. I had to drag her out of there!
So all still seems to be well in her extra-days-at-school world.
