Here we are, at the lake! We took our sweet time packing yesterday, not getting on the road until after 7pm. Which was bliss. So relaxing. Leah fell asleep before we stopped for dinner, allowing us to blast Judas Priest through 2 states + a raging thunderstorm. We arrived sometime around 1am, which is about when I'd be falling asleep, anyway. Perfect trip.
Today was fun + relaxing... late breakfast, reading the paper (on the internets), golf cart ride, reading, grocery run, swimming. And then my brother Dave showed up at the door just before dinner! Fabulous surprise!
Here are some shots + a silly video from today (yeah, I cut my hair). Tomorrow we're hoping to go here if too-much-rain doesn't keep us corralled inside. Vacation!!
