Two days ago, in between brushing her teeth + putting hair ribbons on her rabbit, Leah asked me, "Where did I come from?" I didn't know what she was talking about, thinking she was referring to which room in the house she had just left. But no, she wanted to know how she came to be born. So I told her. Simple + easy, and a satisfied (for now) child. SO cool.
As someone who's studied + worked in reproductive health, I've looked forward to these types of conversations with my own daughter, and here we are!
