Good words

"Compassion practice is daring. It involves learning to relax and allowing ourselves to move gently toward what scares us. The trick to doing this is to stay with emotional distress without tightening into aversion; to let fear soften us rather than harden into resistance."

- Comfortable With Uncertainty by Pema Chodron

Oooh, this is good.

Dealing with uncertainty is something I've always struggled with; or rather - against. Realizing I don't have to fight against my fear is such a relief. I can sit with it... ask it questions... maybe even make friends with it instead.
