Wooosh!

That's the sound of this week flying by.

Leah has been very sweet + serious, alternately smiling, laughing + talking, then furrowing her brow as she contemplates her ever-changing world. She's such a curiosity and a joy.

Here she is a few days ago with her papa, reading about the situation in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. She is appropriately concerned, as we all are. Even as we approach the anniversary of Sept. 11, we feel very fortunate to be far away from the destruction put in motion by Hurricane Katrina.
