My brain can't quite wrap itself around that one. Technically, she's no longer a newborn, and I can't believe it. Of course people have been telling us for the better part of a year how fast she'd grow. That we should enjoy her now because "she'll grow up so fast". And I scoffed. Well, maybe I should listen the next time everyone tells me the same thing.

Adorable!
I recall this theory from "The Happiest Baby on the Block" (which I didn't read but heard a lot about) that the first three months are the 4th trimester, so to speak: babes want to eat, sleep, be snuggled and swaddled, etc. Then pow - they become real babies, looking at everything, trying to eat everything! Sounds like she has just left the 4th trimester with a bang!
On the plus side, she'll probably enjoy your walks a lot more, with so much to see in Jersey City!
