We have been without power for the second time this week; this time for 36 hours and counting. (I am at work today, staring at the exciting lights, feeling the cool a/c + being mesmerized by the pretty computer screen.) There was a huge storm Tuesday night that uprooted trees and caused much havoc, not the least of which was loss of power to parts of our area. They say we should have it back by Friday evening.
Goodbye, food in refrigerator and goodbye, tv + internet. Goodbye nice a/c. But hello moonlight. Hello quiet in the 'hood, hello to friends + neighbors, hello to people in my house. Aside from the stuffy air and loss of cold food, I cannot really complain.
