From beach to city

Here are some views of our weekend in Long Island. (Re: the video... I swear, we are not that compulsive about cleaning our hands!)

The best part of the trip for me was a solo walk up the beach. Treading on sand + caught in the swirling waves, I could turn a still eye on that amazing horizon where ocean meets sky. So very relaxing...




























































At any rate, summer vacation is effectively over for us, as I return to a fuller-time schedule + Leah goes to "school" those 3 days/week. I, for one, am thrilled. I'm filling my head with new and (mostly) interesting things + I get to be in the city I love, surrounded by lots of (mostly) interesting people. Leah also seems to be happy so far...
